Born in Castelmassa, Italy, in 1969, Michele Cabria is a graphic designer and typographer with a long‑standing passion for photography.
His first photographs date back to childhood, when he began experimenting with his father’s old film Canon—an early experience that nurtured his visual sensitivity and attention to detail.
Professionally, Michele has carried out numerous corporate photographic projects aimed at visual communication and brand enhancement, ranging from fashion photo shoots to industrial still life and promotional imagery.
His background in graphic design and typography deeply informs his photographic language, with a strong focus on composition, balance and visual harmony.
Passionate about travel and an animal lover, he has progressively gravitated toward nature and wildlife photography.
Since 2011, he has taken part in multiple photo safaris across Africa - including South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia and Tanzania - developing a deep fascination with big cats and their behavior in the wild.
His work has been featured on international platforms and publications such as National Geographic, Nikon Photography, Africa Geographic and Lighting & Sound International, and has been recognized as finalist in several photography competitions, including The Greatest Masai Mara, Oasis and Africa’s Photographer of the Year.
Michele lives in Castelguglielmo, Italy, with his wife Stefania and Matimba, a Bengal cat who brings Africa a little closer-even at home.
